Product Summary
The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2T is a communication module from the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix product line by manufactured by Rockwell Automation. This communications module is a copper based EtherNet/IP bridge built to support up to 256 Logix connections. This module maintains a communication rate of 10/100 megabits per second while maintaining a continuous 30 Volts isolation. Additionally, the isolated voltage has the basic insulation type, Ethernet to Backplane/USB to Backplane/USB to Ethernet connections, and it is tested at 980 Volts AC for 60 seconds. Also, this communication module has a 1.0 Amp current draw at 5.1 Volts DC with a power dissipation of 6.2 Watts. The 1756-EN2T also has a thermal dissipation of 17.4 BTU per hour. This communication module works with a single slot width that can be found as part of the chassis which does not require a special slot for this purpose.
